Princeton UniversityThe Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in sociocultural anthropology, to begin September, 2018.The deadline for applications is November 1, 2017.We seek ethnographically grounded and theoretically engaged scholars whose research and teaching promise to expand our current range of inquiry.Preference is for scholars specializing in topics complementary to the department's present strengths (e.g., Human Rights, Social Movements, Cities and Infrastructures, Language and Discourse, Environment and Culture, Media Worlds, Religion and Ritual, Science and Technology, Identity, Kinship, Historical Anthropology, Colonialism), and scholars with complementary regional foci (e.g.
